So here it is… my first post! Eeek! After the most eventful past few years I feel it is finally the right time to take my first baby steps into the world of blogging!
My mum taught me from a young age the importance of keeping memories close through diaries, photographs and keepsakes. She wrote page after page of our experiences as children and where we were in our lives, and now, thanks to my mum, I am doing the same for my own beautiful little girl in hopes that she can look back in years to come and cherish otherwise forgotten memories.
Doodles and Bedtime Stories will be my home on the internet to showcase what goes on in our somewhat hectic little lives!
The final motivation for this page was myself and my boyfriend have just started single–handedly the biggest project of our lives…. we bought a new house back in February and needless to say it was pretty much falling apart at the seams. We are slowly turning this house into the home of our dreams and through it all still raising our perfect little girl and to give her a home she can fall in love with. When we are finished we want to be able to look back in years to come, and go ‘wow, look what we did’…. I’m hoping Doodles and Bedtime Stories will give us that, and in the process maybe hopefully inspire other people to pick up a pencil and start doodling their own homely creations.
